I don't know why, but the first half of your entry (all about the power outage, the bumbling service desk, going to another room, etc.), left me with a very strong sense of d�j� vu...don't ask me why. I'm sorry you had to go in to work so upset this morning, but I'm very glad things worked out smoothly and that you were able to go home and enjoy your afternoon/evening. Phew!

Just clicked your banner. Having been in similar situations before I would definitely tell the new manager what happened and find out what was going on. Realistically, this call screening thing could happen again and it's best to KNOW that your new manager had nothing to do with it, otherwise it's mighty frustrating.
