Hey! Sorry to hear that your email backfired. Don't get too down on yourself, you really do sound like a wonderful person! Don't forget that if you lost a friendship, or if you lost touch with a friend in the past, that there was probably a reason for that in the first place. Not all friendships are worth re-kindling, but that doesn't mean not to try, because some are. Obviously this friend doesn't realize that your friendship is worth re-kindling.

Well ...at lease you tried. You might feel like shit...but fuck it...you TRIED.Most people dont e-mail old friends for a reason. That reason?Being to scared to.To see what happens..be happy that you have tried cause if you never did?You would never come to find out what may of happened if you did e-mail that person.Your not wondering about them anymore at lease. That feeling of shit?It will go away, and in the long run?At lease you learned something as well.Never e-mail old friends:)

Good to know. I've thought of it many times and had ideas of lovely reunions. Sorry it hurt you.

just shows that you are a better person than that "friend" and you deserve better people in your life!

You know, I bet everyone can comment on that. I got into the mode where I started e-mailing old friends from college and such, and although I have to admit that *usually* I got a cheery response at first, never to lead anywhere of course, in two cases I e-mailed a couple guys who I had been really close to, and got back really guarded responses, then no response at all after follow-up. "Yes, I do remember you, but I would like to see what you have to say first before I reply in more detail." What the f--k?? That guy was like my best friend!
