When I was doing my fanzine the preview section (where we'd plug upcoming shows) was my favorite area- it was easier to have other writers cover the reviews, but to have the anticipation to excitedly talk about what was coming up was my favorite! I really like you should throw yourself into this- you'll be good at the writing part and your enthusiasm will be great for the job. DO IT DO IT DO IT!
