Hey there, I thought I would step out of lurksville and say hello. I've read quite a bit of your entries, the banner "white knuckle happy and alone" caught my interest for some reason. :) Anyway, I enjoy the way you write--very honest and real. I hope things go well for you in life! Thanks for writing and keep it up! :) -O

You can't tell him now anyway hon, he's not free enough to hear it from you now. He's got a lot on his shoulders with the other two women in his life and it isn't over until it's over. What he needs is a friend. If you told him now it'd probably just backfire on you both. Just my humble observation.

Another lurker here. It sounds to me like Jim's an observant guy, and I'm willing to bet he has a pretty good idea of how you feel. If he felt the same way, you'd probably have a sense of that by now. Your friendship seems to be important to him, and to reveal your romantic feelings toward him would do nothing at this stage but deprive him of the comfort your friendship provides. It wouldn't prompt the type of relationship you really want with him, it'd just put him in an uncomfortable position and spoil the friendship altogether. Believe me, I've done it in the past. You have to ask yourself if you can be content with just being his friend - you can't force fate. If anything more is meant to be, it will evolve on its own. ~Kim
