that 500 calorie thing is absolute BS!! you should try sparkpeople.com if you really wanna lose weight - it's totally free, so no more money down the drain - and you can have them give you as much or as little help as you want as far as what to eat, but they give you a calorie limit and then you keep track everyday of whatever you eat, most foods are on there already, so looking up the calories is pretty easy. it helps you keep track of things like salt intake and stuff, too. i lost about 20lbs on it after i quit smoking, but my friend lost about 70lbs. actually, i need to start up again myself, come to think of it...

Seems to me they were too radical with their plan- which is a good way to make money and cut out. Lame. It goes against everything I've heard, calorie and fat limitations, but slowly. The faster you lose the faster (and more) you gain. I thought everybody knew that. No one can subsist on 500 calories. I think that'd do more damage than good. I was sorry to hear that hon.
