There is *nothing* comprable to being in your own bed after the trauma of surgery, especially if you have to spend *any* recovery time in the hospital or at someone else's house. During the past few years, I've gone soft and am unable to watch the real life medical shows the way I used to; seeing the way they poke, prod, and flip-flop people's organs around? I remember crying out one time: "GAWD! No wonder you feel like shit afterwards!" I don't care how many Dr. McDreamy's they throw in the pot - the only way I'm going in for surgery again is if they say: "Cat, surgery or death." Even at that, I may not be terribly willing...

Godfather II is absolutely one of my all time favorites. And from what you said earlier- the characters are like people I know to me too.
